Maplus Arctic Base paraffin is formulated for optimal performance in very cold fine snow ( -30° to -10° C), used as an additive to harden softer waxes providing more durability or applied to the base along the edges to prevent "base burn" when skiing on hard, icy aggressive snow. For best results melt the wax by passing an iron over the base with iron temp. 150° to 160° C. size = 250g
